EPAC began in 1993 as an
economic development program of
Wayne
County .
Its purpose was to connect suppliers of all sizes and
locations to major regional business opportunities.
E-Vision, Inc. developed the Internet version of EPAC in
late 1996 and established the online and off-line
Procurement Assistance services known as epaconline.com.
E-Vision formed EPAC, LLC in 2002 to own and operate
EPAC. The EPAC community now represents over 14,000
business users - both buyers and suppliers -both public
and private sector - both large and small - and all
interested in building their business
online.
